Exhibition design applies to a range of skills combining comprehension of space, knowledge of materials and the sharpness of work. It is a discipline whose extensions are invented every day, in different formats, and that takes in consideration the evolution of artwork and public.

An exhibition has to be considered globally as a medium in itself. Conceiving and practicing exhibition design is stating the current importance of examining altogether arts of Space and arts of Time, to conceive as one an artwork and the space around it, and to consider the experience of its reception.

Collaborations with museums and art centres along with partnerships developed with universities, allow the students to lead projects from their specifications to their realisation. An annual exhibition presenting the 3rd year students’ work in the Antoine Ier Gallery is an important occasion for them to experiment on-site scale, to be confronted with the constraints of a collective exhibition and to invent new relationships with the public.
